ICYMI: Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Is About to Expand Its Timeline!
We’re only weeks away from the debut of an expanded timeline at Disneyland’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
On April 29th, Batuu will expand its timeline, allowing for the debut of John Williams’ iconic scores, new character experiences, and enhancements to various shops.
Curious what this timeline expansion will actually look like? Let’s review!
Timeline Expansion – Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Character Experiences
New character experiences will debut around Batuu, due to the timeline expansion. Here’s where you can find them:
- Darth Vader: Wandering Batuu in search of Jedi, accompanied by Imperial Stormtroopers
- Leia Organa: Near the Millennium Falcon
- Han Solo: Near the Millennium Falcon, lingering toward Oga’s Cantina
- Luke Skywalker: Roaming the outpost

Characters already familiar with Batuu will remain in the land. Here’s where they’ll be:
- Ahsoka Tano, the Mandalorian, and Grogu: Near the Marketplace
- R2-D2: Rolling through Batuu
- Rey: On the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost

John Williams Scores
To further immerse guests in the world of Star Wars, John Williams’ iconic scores from the franchise will debut in the land! Themes will be pulled from the first 6 films.
In the tunnels leading guests into Batuu, the “Main Title” and “Force Theme” will set the scene, transporting visitors to a galaxy far, far away.

Around the land, other classic scores will play, including “Han Solo and the Princess,” “The Desert and the Robot Auction,” “The Emperor,” and more!
And, much to my personal delight, “The Cantina Band” will play at Oga’s Cantina! (It was previously a missed opportunity!)

Shop Enhancements
To fit the shift in storylines, buildings and shops will change, too!
First Order Cargo will become Black Spire Surplus, offering Imperial and Rebel artifacts from different eras. Along with that change, Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities will sell items from the past, and an earlier generation of the Mubo family will operate Droid Depot, where they’re just prototyping the BB droid.
The rest of the land will remain the same, still offering its iconic flavored milks, fan-favorite ronto wraps, galactic attractions, and entertainment–like “Shadow of Memory: A Skywalker Saga.”

NEW Pink Milk – Milk Stand in Galaxy’s Edge
So head to the land on or after April 29th to enjoy all of these enhancements!
