Well, not exactly, but they ARE taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster! Formerly themed to Aerosmith, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will now star the Muppets, and we FINALLY have an opening date!

Disney just announced that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets will officially open on May 26!

The reimagined ride will feature The Electric Mayhem, who are due to headline their biggest Hollywood concert ever — but they’re nowhere to be found.

G-Force Records is now under the management of the Muppets, with Scooter’s uncle, J.P. Grosse, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, lending his expertise.
Scooter is tasked with convincing Electric Mayhem to get across town and to their concert on time!
Thanks to the technological advancements from Muppets Labs, guests will board a super-powered vehicle known as the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.)!

In addition to the entrance limo’s new design, the iconic guitar has been redesigned with a new psychedelic look and a piano motif serving as a nod to Dr. Teeth.

The ride will feature a list of five different tracks covering classic rock hits, including:
- Song 2 – The Electric Mayhem
- Born To Be Wild – The Electric Mayhem ft. Camilla the Chicken
- Love Rollercoaster – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove
- Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop) – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard
- Walking on Sunshine – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson
