Disneyland Shares FIRST LOOK at the Princess Leia Meet and Greet Coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Earlier this year, Disneyland Park announced that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge would undergo a major change.
Beginning April 29, the land’s timeline will expand beyond the First Order era to include stories from the Age of the Rebellion and the New Republic.

With this shift, Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland will welcome an influx of new characters from across the Star Wars saga.

Now, we have another update.
Princess Leia Is Coming to Disneyland
Star Wars shared a first look at Leia Organa’s debut in Galaxy’s Edge.

In the teaser video, the Rebel leader is not wearing her iconic gown from A New Hope. Instead, she appears in a Rebellion-style jumpsuit similar to the one seen in The Empire Strikes Back.

The footage shows Leia inspecting Rebel equipment and meeting with R2-D2 in front of the Millennium Falcon.

When the updated timeline takes effect, Leia will appear alongside R2, Han Solo, and Chewbacca.

It is important to note that this expanded timeline will only apply to the Disneyland version of Galaxy’s Edge.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios version of the land will remain set in the First Order era.
