We Finally Have Our First-Look at the Plans For Asteria, a Storyliving by Disney Community
A brand-new Disney story is being written in the heart of North Carolina, where work is underway on Asteria, the newest Storyliving by Disney community.
Inspired by the spirit of discovery, the master-planned development will offer residents access to big-city amenities alongside the charm of small-town living.
As Asteria continues to take shape, we now have a clearer picture of the facilities and experiences residents can expect.
Introducing the Second Star Club
At the center of the community will be the Second Star Club.
Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering, the club will feature spaces dedicated to gathering, creativity, and wellness.

The heart of the Second Star Club will be Aster Green, an expansive lawn designed for events such as family picnics, Disney movie nights, and casual recreation.
Nearby, at The Studios, members will have access to high-tech tools such as laser engravers and fabric printers, allowing them to explore crafts like woodworking and quilting.

The club will also include a Wellness Center, where members can take advantage of state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
At Market Hall, residents will find a central gathering space perfect for watching their favorite sports teams. With both indoor and outdoor seating, the venue is designed to foster a strong sense of community.
Another highlight is Piedmont Proper, the Second Star Club’s flexible event pavilion.

This space will feature detailed woodwork and rosemaling artwork inspired by wildlife from beloved Disney films.
Additional amenities at the Second Star Club will include an adults-only pool, a family pool, a playground, and tennis/pickleball courts.
Lost Key Cottage
Beyond the clubhouse, Disney has also shared a preview of Asteria’s Lost Key Cottage.

Inspired by Peter Pan, this five-bedroom home will be available to members for family gatherings, celebrations, and overnight stays.
Similar to the Parr House at Cotino, the immersive space is designed to serve as a unique setting for community events.
