First Look & Listen: The Posters & Music of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coasters Starring The Muppets
We’re getting closer and closer to the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The ride officially opens this summer, and we have been keeping an eye on construction.

Disney has been teasing the most exciting part of this ride — the music! And we were very kindly invited to a listening event at Disney Springs today to learn more.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Listening Party
We were able to preview the music for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s event at House of Blues in Disney Springs today! We got to listen to the first two songs that have been revealed by Disney (the full track list will be revealed later this week).
The first song is actually “Song 2” from Blur, and the second song is “Born to Be Wild” by Steppenwolf. But both songs are being covered by our favorite Muppet band, The Electric Mayhem!
We can’t let you hear the songs just yet, but we can tell you that we loved how The Muppets covered them! They were both very fun and done in a signature Muppets style that fans will love. Animal was also heavily featured, which is awesome.
At the event, we also got to see some of the posters that will be in the queue of the revamped ride!
They’re in a colorful style and feature different members of the band.
Of course, Animal gets his own poster!
As does Janice, duh.
We can’t wait to see these in the ride queue!
We also got a closer look at the band poster for the ride — I love it!
As part of the event, we got some cool goodies from Disney, including our very own Muppet! We got Kermit…
…but we also saw that Animal was available!
Some other stuff we got included this tie-dye bag…
…matching sunglasses…
…a little card with The Muppets’ autographs…
…and a little record keepsake!
There were also some fun themed cocktails provided by House of Blues.
They were all gorgeous!
We can’t wait to experience the ride when it opens!
