British Man Arrested at Disney World For Pushing Line-Cutting Teen
A Virgin Atlantic flight attendant was arrested at Walt Disney World after allegedly pushing a teenage girl who attempted to cut in line.
The incident took place on February 20, when an 18-year-old woman and her friend tried to move ahead of Keith Newman, a 47-year-old British man.
According to the arrest affidavit, the two women told Newman they were trying to catch up with friends further ahead in line for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom.

Newman reportedly refused to let them pass.
The Incident
When one of the women attempted to go around him, he allegedly “pushed her back with both hands,” causing her to fall into her companion and spill her drink.

Newman, however, claimed that he did not shove the woman and that she instead walked into his hand.
He was nevertheless arrested.
Newman Subsequently Returned to the United Kingdom
According to a report from the Daily Mail, Newman was released on $1,000 bail and allowed to return to the United Kingdom.
He could still face a fine or up to a year in jail.

“I hope this sends a message that it’s never OK to put your hands on someone else except for self-defense. Especially somebody a lot younger than you,” the victim’s father told the publication.
When asked for comment, Newman said, “It has been sorted as far as I know.”
