A Disney Character Walk of Fame Will Debut at the Walt Disney Studios Lot in Hollywood Studios
In just a few weeks, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will usher in a new era when the Walt Disney Studios Lot officially opens.
Set to replace Animation Courtyard, the new land will recreate Disney’s Burbank studio campus.
Within the area, guests will find the Magic of Disney Animation Experience, a Drawn to Wonderland playground, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!

The land will also feature a version of Mickey’s iconic Sorcerer’s Hat.

Today, Disney took to Instagram to reveal that numerous characters have left their imprints in the new courtyard, creating a Walk of Fame.
As explained by Imagineer Ruby, some of Disney’s biggest stars stopped by to place their names and handprints into the concrete.

All in all, the new courtyard looks fantastic, and the imprints and signatures are reminiscent of the space in front of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which itself draws inspiration from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Sorcerer’s Hat Has Arrived
