ALL the Pink Paint Is Gone From Cinderella Castle as Refurbishment Winds Down
If you’ve been following along with us here at MickeyBlog, you know we’ve been keeping a close eye on the repainting of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.
The highly anticipated refurbishment officially began in January and has been steadily progressing ever since.
The last time we checked in, work was underway on the castle’s blue turrets, and most of the pink paint had already been stripped away.

Now, we’re back with another update!
The Pink Has Been Removed From Cinderella Castle
During a visit to Magic Kingdom this morning, we were excited to see that even more progress has been made on Cinderella Castle.

The structure looks better than ever, now featuring a refreshed dark gray hue.

The newly repainted blue turrets were also glimmering in the sun.

Since our last update, it appears that the remaining pink paint near the top of the castle has been fully removed.

Here’s another look.

The updated gold and blue trim looks fantastic.

If you ask me, the castle has never looked more regal.

Once again, Cinderella Castle proudly greets guests at the end of Main Street.
The Castle Moat Is Drained
It should be noted, however, that the castle moat remains drained.

Construction equipment is still visible beneath the bridge.

The walkway along the side of the castle also remains blocked off.

View From Fantasyland
Over in Fantasyland, a construction wall continues to obscure part of the castle.

As you can see, the equipment is visible above the wall.

Nevertheless, guests are still able to walk through the castle.

Here’s another look at the current state of the project.

Disney has done an impressive job!

At this pace, it looks like the repainting project could wrap up soon.

As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We’ll continue to keep you updated on all the latest news coming out of Walt Disney World.
