Star Wars Star Ashley Eckstein and David Eckstein Announce New “His and Hers” Books
If you love to read, get ready to add two new books to your TBR pile.
Disney fans and sports fans have something new to look forward to this fall. Ashley Eckstein and her husband, David Eckstein, are teaming up to share their real-life love story in a unique book release.
New Books Coming Soon
Ashley, best known as the voice of Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars franchise, is releasing her debut romance novel, Lucky 22.
The book follows fictional characters Ella Rose Holt and Christian Lucas and is inspired by the couple’s early years together. She co-wrote the novel with bestselling author Samantha Chase.

Her husband David is releasing his memoir, Just Enough, which arrives 20 years after his 2006 World Series MVP win with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Co-written with Jake Gronsky and featuring an introduction by Sean Astin, the book focuses on perseverance, faith, and the defining moments of his career both on and off the field.

“I am a proud wife and David’s story is one of the greatest underdog stories that has yet to be told…until now,” Ashley said Thursday morning.
“‘Just Enough’ is not just a baseball memoir, it’s an everyman tale, and one that will inspire any reader. As for ‘Lucky 22,’ everyone has always told us the way we fell in love is like a Hallmark movie. It was fun to share our story from a different perspective. I guess you could say our books are ‘his and hers.’”
