Disney Celebrates National Siblings Day With Three Sister Cast Members
Happy National Siblings Day!

Anna & Elsa
Disney has many famous siblings, like Anna and Elsa, Nani and Lilo, and many more, and today Disney is celebrating Cast Member siblings!
Sisters in Pixie Dust
This is the story of sisters Kate, Brittany, and Rachel Hackett, three Cast Member sisters whose love of Disney World grew from childhood visits into careers. Even their grandmother was a seasonal merchandise Cast Member for 27 years!
“We were very fortunate to spend so much time at Disney World as children,” Kate said. “Our grandmother really shaped those memories for us.”

As children, the siblings visited Disney World during the holiday season, experiencing traditions such as the Candlelight Processional. Later, they performed in the Candlelight Processional Cast Choir, which their grandmother also did.

Brittany was the first sibling to move to Florida from New Jersey for school, and she started working part-time at Disney World.
Her sisters eventually followed, with Kate working in Food and Beverage at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Brittany now works as a scheduling specialist in Entertainment, where she coordinates for performers, attendants, technicians, costuming cast, and more.

And Rachel works with the Disney Character Events team, bringing characters to events around Disney World property and beyond.

When the three siblings have the opportunity to work together, it’s an extra special experience. For the first time in six years, they recently worked the same event at Hollywood Studios.
Rachel said, “That was the first time we’d ever been able to run into each other altogether. It was such a fun experience to share all that we do with one another.”

Each sister has found a new purpose through their Disney World role. Kate discovered her love of culinary arts, having recently completed culinary school.
“I’ve discovered my love for this area, and it’s helped me move into the next steps of my career,” Kate said.

Brittany has enjoyed her time behind the scenes, working with her fellow Cast Members. She explained, “The cast are my guests. I love supporting them in all the magic they create.”
Meanwhile, Rachel is inspired by the fast-paced world of character events. “Every day is a little bit different,” she said. “You get to see new things that fill your cup.”

It’s not just the siblings who found purpose at Disney World, either — the whole family is building a legacy! Two uncles and an aunt now also work at Disney World.
According to the sisters, working at Disney has strengthened their relationships.
“It just feels so normal that we’re all part of the magic,” Brittany said. “We have pixie dust in our veins!”

National Siblings Day is all about celebrating our siblings, with Kate, Brittany, and Rachel showcasing their shared dreams blooming into shared careers.
When asked what they might say to other families considering shared Disney careers, they said, “Do it. We have the sisterly bond, but we also have the Cast Member bond.”
