The resort’s event honoring seven decades of magic will continue through August 9th, giving fans plenty of time to experience the anniversary fun before it’s gone.

And although we’ve been celebrating the anniversary for almost an entire year now, more themed offerings continue to pop up around the resort—like the art walk in Downtown Disney!

70th Anniversary Art Walk – Downtown Disney
Head over to Downtown Disney to experience the 70th Anniversary Art Walk! The location took to Instagram to share a look at what guests can see during their artsy stroll–take a look:

In honor of the resort’s 70th anniversary, artists were tasked with creating artwork inspired by a Walt Disney quote, a keyword, and park offerings that define their assigned decade.
Let’s take a look at some of the artwork that’s already up!

The 1950’s display features the quote, “Ideas come from curiosity,” and features Fantasyland attractions, including Peter Pan’s Flight, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and King Arthur Carrousel.

The 1960’s display showcases the quote, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible,” and highlights attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, “it’s a small world,” Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, and Haunted Mansion.

The 1970’s display has the quote, “…when you wish upon a star, your dreams do come true,” with artwork of Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the Main Street Electrical Parade.

“The important thing is the family,” is the featured quote for the 1980’s, with artwork of Splash Mountain and the Star Tours building, along with nods to Disney’s presence in film and music throughout the decade.
