Walt Disney World Wait Times for Easter Week 2026
Easter Week has ended, and it’s time to assess the crowds.
Here are Walt Disney World’s wait times for early April 2026.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Last week featured two holidays, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Also, many North American schools timed their Spring Break weeks to align with the holidays.

For this reason, Disney theme parks experienced some of the highest attendance levels of 2026.
Did this behavior lead to ridiculously high wait times? Well, we’re about to find out.

Mr. and Mrs. Bunny
We’re starting with Animal Kingdom, the park that’s the most susceptible to overcrowding.
Since this park is operating at half-mast right now, the rides here sometimes require extended waits.

This behavior will continue until the Tropical Americas opens next year.
Until then, Animal Kingdom is shorthanded on rides, which can cause problems.

This park just reshuffled many of its character meetings over the past two weeks.
The timing of these moves shouldn’t be lost on you, as they serve a purpose.

By moving the characters to different locations, Disney could influence traffic flow.
With the characters in new places, some of the popular rides could have been impacted. Still, fans tend to think for themselves. So, the strategy may not have worked.
