Magic Kingdom Adds More ‘Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire’ Performances as Cinderella Castle Repainting Continues
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the ongoing repainting of Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom.
The highly anticipated refurbishment officially kicked off in January and has been progressing ever since.
While Disney has largely kept Magic Kingdom operations running normally during the refurbishment, there have been some adjustments to the entertainment calendar.

For example, the park has been running a modified version of Let the Magic Begin that does not feature any characters.
Additionally, performances of Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire have been moved to the afternoon.

With the repainting of Cinderella Castle still underway, we now have another update to share.
Evening Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire Performances Added
Beginning today, Magic Kingdom has increased the number of Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire performances from three to five.

Previously, the show was performed at 1:00 PM, 2:05 PM, and 4:00 PM.
Going forward, Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire will be performed three times in the afternoon — 12:45 PM, 1:55 PM, and 3:55 PM.
Additionally, there will now be two evening performances at 5:25 PM and 6:30 PM.

So, while the Cinderella Castle repainting continues to prevent morning performances of Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, guests now have more opportunities to catch the show throughout the day.
Main Street Philharmonic Gets New Times
In addition to Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, Magic Kingdom has also altered the times for the Main Street Philharmonic.

Going forward, the iconic band will perform at 11:05 AM, 1:10 PM, 2:40 PM, and 3:35 PM.
