Since welcoming its first guests in 2024, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point has become a popular Disney Cruise Line destination, captivating visitors with its white-sand beaches, natural beauty, and touches of Disney magic.
In celebration of Earth Month, Disney is shifting the focus away from Lookout Cay’s amenities and toward the environmental efforts underway on the island.
Earlier this week, we brought you a report on the Conservation Team divers who are dedicated to monitoring coral reef health.

Now, we are back with another update.
The Disney Conservation Team Gives Displaced Coral New Life
In a new video shared on social media, Disney explained how its Conservation Team gives displaced coral a second life while helping restore reefs at Lookout Cay.

The diving team heads underwater to locate displaced coral fragments.
By reattaching the coral to limestone boulders, they are able to create new habitats.

Over time, fish begin to populate these restored reefs, increasing biodiversity in the area.

Thanks to the Conservation Team’s efforts, more than 60 species of fish now call the reef home.
