An important chapter in Disney’s BoardWalk Resort history came to a close last year when Jellyrolls shuttered after 29 years.
After opening alongside the BoardWalk in 1996, Jellyrolls became something of a Disney institution.

For nearly three decades, the bar served as the setting for sing-alongs, after-work gatherings, and countless cherished memories. For many guests, a stop at Jellyrolls was an essential part of their Disney vacation.
When Jellyrolls closed its doors on April 19, the establishment promised fans it would find a new home off Disney property.

For nearly a year, fans have waited with bated breath to learn where the beloved venue would relocate.
Now, we finally have our answer.
Jellyrolls Finds a New Home
As first reported by the Orlando Sentinel, Jellyrolls has found a new home in Lake Buena Vista, just a short drive from Walt Disney World.
“We’re excited to continue the legacy we’ve had and do our thing,” said Amber Antel, director of operations.

Owner Michael Williams was determined to find the perfect location for Jellyrolls. The new venue will remain close to Walt Disney World while offering added conveniences like free parking and easy drop-off at the front door.
In other words, getting to Jellyrolls is about to become much easier.
When the dueling piano club reopens, however, guests can expect the same specialty cocktails, sing-along songs, and world-famous popcorn that made it so popular.

“We wanted to give our clientele an even better experience,” Antel explained. “ And we weren’t just looking for a new home. We were looking for the right home, one we intend to be in for a long time.”
Familiar Faces and Upgrades
According to the director of entertainment, Scotty Kilwein, fans will also see many familiar faces behind the pianos.
Additionally, the new venue will feature upgraded sound and lighting, along with a more prominent stage.

“The room is being designed with the whole intention of the show being the focus,” Kilwein said. “It will be better for the musicians, and it will make everybody feel like they are part of the show.”
When Will the New Venue Open?
While Jellyrolls has not yet announced an official reopening date, construction on the new location is already underway.
