Character Meet & Greets Switched Up Once Again in Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom has seen many changes lately! All of DinoLand, U.S.A. is now closed as the area is reimagined into a new Tropical Americas land, a new Zootopia show recently debuted under the Tree of Life, and Rafiki’s Planet Watch is temporarily closed as it makes way for Bluey.

And now, some character meet-and-greets have changed once again in Animal Kingdom. Let’s talk about it!
Meet & Greet Locations Changed in Animal Kingdom
With all of the major changes in Animal Kingdom, the character meet and greet locations have been shifting around in recent weeks. Donald and Daisy Duck moved from DinoLand to the Oasis and are now located near the Wildlife Express Train, Harambe Station in Africa.

The two wear the same outfits that you can find when you meet them inside Tusker House. You can also meet Goofy over here!

After they moved out of the Oasis, two other friends took Donald and Daisy’s spots! You can meet Timon and Rafiki in the Oasis near Garden Gate Gifts — they alternate meeting times.

Make sure to check your My Disney Experience app to see the daily appearance times and locations.

On Discovery Island, you can usually meet Dug and Russell from Pixar’s Up. However, we were informed that Dug is currently out chasing squirrels, so Carl has taken his place!

The duo is typically here daily, and right now, their meet-and-greet times aren’t listed on the My Disney Experience app, so you kind of just have to keep an eye out for them!
