The Creative Community Luncheon will serve as something of an appetizer for Disney at CinemaCon, as the studio’s presentation will take place later that afternoon.
Here Comes ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’
For Favreau, CinemaCon will kick off what should be a busy summer.

With The Mandalorian & Grogu set to hit theaters on May 22, all eyes will be on the director to see if he can reinvigorate Star Wars at the box office.
“The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu (as himself),” the film’s synopsis reads.
