Themes Revealed for the Next runDisney Virtual Series Races
To all the Disney enthusiasts who love to exercise, runDisney is for you! The organization hosts race weekends throughout the year at Disney World and Disneyland, where you actually get to run through the theme parks.
But you don’t even have to travel to participate in some of the fun! There are also virtual runDisney events that you can take part in from wherever you are in the world.

And now, the themes have been revealed for the next virtual runDisney series!
runDisney Virtual Series Themes
The next runDisney Virtual Series will take place from June 1st to August 31st this year. It will include 3 virtual 5K races with some retro themes!

First up, we have the Go the Distance 5K, which is themed to Hercules!

Next is the Kuzcotopia 5K themed to The Emperor’s New Groove!

Finally, we have the Just Around the Riverbend 5K themed to Pocahontas!

But, if you want to do all 3 races, you can participate in An Extremely Goofy Virtual Challenge themed to A Goofy Movie!

The individual races are $59 each and the challenge is $185. The price includes a commemorative finisher medal, digital bib and finisher certificate, and a digital race tool kit featuring printable mile markers.
The money also goes toward donations for the USO Central Florida.

General registration for the races opens up on April 7th, 2026, at 10AM EST.
