Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Soft Opens Again at Magic Kingdom

Guests visiting Magic Kingdom today have the opportunity to join Star Command and set off to defeat the Evil Emperor Zurg on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

For those who have not been following along, the iconic attraction closed last August for a major upgrade.

During the renovation, Space Ranger Spin received several enhancements, including digital targets, handheld blasters, always-on lasers, and updated ride vehicles.

Additionally, the attraction now features a new opening scene with Buddy and an upgraded hyperspace sequence.

The Attraction Soft Opened Yesterday

While Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will officially reopen on April 8, the attraction soft-opened yesterday.

Luckily, we were at Magic Kingdom and had the opportunity to report on the upgrades, including the refurbished queue and gift shop.

Needless to say, it was an exciting day.

Now, it is my pleasure to report that Space Ranger Spin has once again opened today, giving even more guests the chance to experience the updated attraction.

Space Ranger Spin Is Once Again Open

Based on how the week has gone, it appears that Space Ranger Spin will continue to soft open for guests visiting Magic Kingdom.
