Big Spring Break Crowds Descend on Disney World
It’s officially peak spring break season in Disney World! Easter is this Sunday, April 5th, which means the majority of spring breaks are taking place right about now.

This period is widely considered to be one of, if not THE busiest time of the year in the parks (the only other time that rivals it is the week between Christmas and New Year’s). And, we’re really seeing that in the parks today!
Spring Break Crowds in Disney World
We were in Magic Kingdom this morning when we realized just how busy things are right now. Look at these crowds walking down Main Street, U.S.A.

We ventured into Tomorrowland, and when we saw that the line for Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor was using an extended queue sign, that’s when we knew we were in trouble.

Moving further into Tomorrowland, it was absolutely packed near Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe!

Just look at all of those PEOPLE. Yikes, let’s see how things are at a different park.

We also visited Hollywood Studios, but things were just as busy. See that sea of matching shirts in front of us? That’s when you know alllllll of the big groups are visiting!

Over on Sunset Boulevard, Tower of Terror was using an extended queue because the line was so long!

We just know these people regret not buying Lightning Lanes at a time like this.

Here’s another look!

We know the crowds LOOK bad, but were the lines for rides actually long? Unfortunately, yes.
The highest time of the day we saw was Test Track at 120 minutes around 3PM.

But that was clearly not an outlier. All of the wait times were very high today!

They fluctuated, but stayed fairly high throughout the day.

Over an hour for Soarin’? No, thank you!

Keep in mind that this will likely be what the parks are like throughout this week and next. After that, hopefully things calm down a bit!
Stay tuned for more Disney World news and updates!
