Smoke From a Local Housefire Causes Hazy Day at Disneyland

Things got a little hazy at The Happiest Place on Earth today as a house fire sent smoke wafting over Disneyland Resort.
According to a report from KTLA, Anaheim fire officials responded to a house fire at 1628 Calle Del Sol at approximately 12:19 p.m.

The property is located across the street from Disneyland.
A video shared by Citizen showed smoke from the Calle Del Sol property visible from Disney California Adventure.

Guest Reaction to the Blaze
The haze caused confusion among guests, who could be heard wondering what was on fire.
There’s a fire 🔥 near the @Disneyland Hotel to the west and it’s beginning to overcome the air at the pools. Smells really bad. Just heard a Cast Member saying they should probably close.

Several Disneyland guests also took to social media to report that they could smell smoke from inside the park.

Despite the close proximity of the fire, there was no danger to anyone on the property, and resort operations continued uninterrupted.
The Fire Was Extinguished This Afternoon
By 1:22 p.m., the fire had been extinguished, and damage was reportedly limited to a single home.

At this time, however, it is unclear how severe the damage was or if anyone was injured.
