by Justin Hermes · March 30, 2026
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we have been closely following the refurbishment of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom.
When the attraction reopens on April 8, it will debut numerous upgrades, including digital targets, portable blasters, always-on lasers, and enhanced ride vehicles.

Additionally, Space Ranger Spin will receive a new opening scene featuring Buddy and an upgraded hyperspace scene.
Earlier this month, we had the opportunity to preview the upgraded attraction, and we brought you along for the ride.

Now, we are back with another update!
The New Attraction Marquee Has Been Revealed
Early this morning, Disney Parks took to social media to share a first look at the new Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin marquee.

The updated entrance sign features a sleek, modern design.

A new sign outside the attraction gives fans an idea of what is to come.

Here is a look at the new MagicBand touch points.

Unlike the last entrance sign, the new marquee has a base.

It matches the nearby Tomorrowland Transit Authority support beams.

The base also has galactic symbols etched into it.

As you can see, the Lightning Lane time and attraction wait time are digitally listed below.

In addition to the new marquee, the cement outside the attraction has been redone.

Here is another look.

As you can see, the sign really pops at night!

Over the past several months, we have seen Disney remove the old marquee and begin a major construction project outside of the attraction.

For reference, here is what the old marquee looked like.

All in all, the entrance looks great!
The Attraction Will Reopen Next Month

I, for one, can’t wait!
