Disney Springs Is Limiting Bus Service to Resort Guests — Here’s What You Need to Know
by Justin Hermes · March 30, 2026
With Easter just around the corner, spring break season is underway at Walt Disney World.
With millions of guests making the pilgrimage to The Most Magical Place on Earth for some fun in the sun, we have seen the resort implement numerous operational changes to help manage the crowds.

These have included extended theme park hours, additional entertainment showtimes, and the return of the Walt Disney World Water Park Seasonal Pass.

Now, however, I want to turn your attention to a change in the Disney transportation system.
Disney Springs Is Restricting Bus Service
If you have visited Disney Springs in the last couple of days, you may have noticed that Disney has begun limiting who can board the buses.

To help manage the spring break crowds, Cast Members are now stationed at each bus depot to ensure that guests boarding have either a Disney Resort reservation or a dining reservation.

To board the buses, guests must now scan their MagicBand to confirm their reservation. Cast Members can also look up your information if you do not have a MagicBand.

At this time, Disney is only limiting who can board a bus from Disney Springs.

Non-resort guests can still take buses to Disney Springs without restriction.

So, if you are planning a visit, make sure you plan ahead. For now, non-resort guests will need to find alternative transportation when leaving Disney Springs.

The Procedure Will Remain In Place Until Next Week
According to the Cast Members we spoke with, the plan is to continue checking resort and dining reservations through the end of this weekend.

On April 6, Disney buses are expected to reopen to all guests.

As always, be sure to check back with MickeyBlog. We will continue to update you on all the news coming out of Walt Disney World.
