Disney Skating Auditions Confirm Return of Christmas Parade at Walt Disney World
It’s back! It may only be spring, but Disney is already looking ahead and confirming one of our favorite events of the holiday season is returning.
Disney World recently posted this casting notice… and confirmed the return of the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

Disney confirmed the return of a fan-favorite holiday offering, and the proof is in a newly released casting call.
Disney is now accepting online submissions for inline skating performers for Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Walt Disney World.
The audition is open to both current performers and external candidates, with Disney specifically seeking energetic character performers who can skate.
Applicants must be local to Central Florida and available weekly from late September through January 1, 2026, which aligns with the full holiday entertainment season.
This casting notice does more than fill this fun role. It clearly signals that the beloved Christmas parade is returning for 2026.
The parade has long been a highlight of the holiday season, featuring festive floats, your favorite characters, and high-energy holiday performances- including the in-line skaters.
Submissions are being accepted through May 17, giving interested performers a limited window to apply. (Disney Live Entertainment is emphasizing inclusivity, seeking performers of all backgrounds to bring the parade to life.)
