PHOTOS: Your Latest Look at Cinderella Castle’s New Paint in Disney World
Many changes are happening in Magic Kingdom right now! Construction can be seen in Fantasyland, Frontierland, Tomorrowland, and Liberty Square.
Cinderella Castle on March 10th
One of the big projects taking place currently is the new paint on Cinderella Castle! And now, we have another update for you on how the castle is looking! Let’s take a look.
Cinderella Castle Painting Update
There is absolutely no more pink on Cinderella Castle!
I, for one, am thrilled. I grew up with a blue and grey castle, so the pink was not my favorite.
However, I know many of you did enjoy the pink, so condolences.
It looks like the grey painting is completely finished…
…and now they’ve moved on to touching up the blue on the turrets!
I honestly do prefer the lighter blue look compared to the darker blue…
…BUT the Florida sun fades the paint pretty severely on Cinderella Castle, so I’m sure they’re painting it darker knowing it will lighten up over time.
There is still water missing from around the castle, but I would expect it to return soon since it looks like the painting is almost finished.
You can still see some equipment in the area, though!
I can’t wait til this project is wrapped up, and I’m so thankful it didn’t take nearly as long as painting the castle pink did!
