PHOTOS: The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Entrance Limo Gets an Electric Mayhem-esque Paint Job
The final curtain fell on Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith earlier this month, as the iconic attraction officially closed.
Since that fateful day, Walt Disney Imagineering has been hard at work transforming the ride with its new Muppet-themed overlay.
Later this year, Kermit, Scooter, and the Electric Mayhem will take over Sunset Boulevard when Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets debuts.

On the reimagined attraction, guests will be recruited by Scooter to help convince the Electric Mayhem to wrap up their recording session and make it to their Hollywood concert on time.
Work Is Underway
With the new Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster set to open later this year, the attraction’s transformation has continued before our eyes.

The last time we checked in, repainting of the ride’s upside-down entrance limo was underway.

Now, we are back with another update.
The Entrance Limo’s New Paint Job
When visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios this afternoon, we were thrilled to see that the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster limo has received even more details.

The iconic vehicle now features a painted design resembling the Electric Mayhem bus.

As you can see, stars and music notes now decorate the car’s body.

The painted pattern has also received flowing details.

The new pattern covers the entire vehicle.
Here is another look at the front of the car.

While the limo’s shape remains unchanged, it has taken on a completely new look.
It will be interesting to see if this motif continues throughout the entire attraction.

It could very well be a sign of things to come.
Here is one last look.
