Miley Cyrus Looks Back at Her ‘Hannah Montana’ Roots
Miley Cyrus will don her blonde wig and revive her iconic Disney Channel persona tomorrow, when The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special finally arrives on Disney+.
The highly anticipated retrospective will see Miley return to the Hannah Montana set for a celebration of the cultural touchstone.

Alex Cooper will also be on hand to interview Cyrus about the creation of Hannah Montana and the impact that the series had on millions of viewers.
“Hannah Montana will always be a part of who I am,” Cyrus said.

“What began as a TV show grew into a shared experience that shaped my life and the lives of so many fans, and I’ll always be grateful for that connection. The fact that it still means so much to people all these years later is something I’m incredibly proud of. This ‘Hannahversary’ is my way of celebrating and thanking the fans who’ve supported me for 20 years.”

Ahead of The Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, Disney provided a look back at Cyrus’s comments about her iconic persona.

As Cyrus discusses her time as Hannah Montana, she repeatedly emphasizes the importance of fans.
