See How Imagineers Infused the Garden View Lounge With Elements of Nature
If you’ve been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that we’ve been closely following the refurbishment of the Grand Floridian lobby.
The goal of the renovation is to give the resort’s central space a refreshed look while still preserving the elegant ambiance and Victorian theme that have long defined Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

To achieve this, the furniture, staircase, and front desk are being updated with botanical accents and warm, inviting colors, helping to create an airy, garden-like atmosphere.
Garden View Lounge
As part of the broader refurbishment, Disney has also refreshed the look of the resort’s Garden View Lounge.

Reopening today, the updated Garden View Lounge blends Victorian charm with subtle inspiration from Alice in Wonderland.

Adding Natural Elements
As Disney celebrates the reopening of the Garden View Lounge, Walt Disney Imagineering shared a closer look at some of the natural elements infused into the space.
