Josh D’Amaro Congratulates Bob Iger on His Remarkable Disney Career
A new era in Disney history is unfolding before our eyes today as Josh D’Amaro has officially succeeded Bob Iger as the company’s next CEO.
In the lead-up to today’s transition of power, we have seen Iger and D’Amaro walk in lockstep, praising each other effusively and discussing the importance of the moment.

With Iger’s time as CEO of Disney now officially at an end, Josh D’Amaro took the opportunity to praise his mentor one last time.

Just minutes before Disney’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders kicked off, D’Amaro took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and Iger standing on the Walt Disney Studios lot.
“Congratulations to Bob Iger on a legendary Disney career. Thank you for your vision, your courage, your leadership, and your friendship,” he captioned the post.

Unlike the last time that Bob Iger chose his successor, it appears that he and D’Amaro are getting along well.

For Disney to be successful going forward, D’Amaro will have to smoothly take the reins from Iger, who will have to ensure he actually lets go this time.
