Disney’s Blizzard Beach Is Closed Today Due to Cold Weather
With much of the country dealing with cold temperatures and snow, millions of spring break travelers are heading to Walt Disney World for some fun in the sun.
While Central Florida is traditionally temperate this time of year, it is a bit nippy out there today.

While cooler temperatures don’t necessarily derail a Disney vacation, unusual weather can still lead to operational changes across The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Blizzard Beach Is Closed Today
With that in mind, it is my duty to announce that Blizzard Beach has closed today due to cold temperatures.

Looking at the forecast, Walt Disney World is expecting a high of 49 today. Much of the day, however, will be in the low- to mid-50s.
That, unfortunately, is not warm enough to enjoy Blizzard Beach.

While Blizzard Beach will unfortunately not open today, it will not be closed for long.
Things Will Heat Up Later This Week
Looking ahead, warm weather and sunshine are on the horizon, meaning guests will be able to enjoy some time at the water park soon.
Tomorrow will be temperate, with a high of 67. After that, however, temperatures will remain in the 70s and 80s.

So, if you are currently in the midst of your Walt Disney World vacation, you may want to shuffle things around.
Today and tomorrow are perfect days to visit a theme park, while the rest of the week will be warm enough for some fun in the sun.
