REMINDER: Registration For the 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Opens Tomorrow
Thousands of runners from across the country will descend on The Most Magical Place on Earth next January as the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend returns for 2027.
Taking place at Walt Disney World from January 6 through January 10, the 2027 Marathon Weekend invites athletes and fans alike to participate in themed races, wellness activities, and plenty of festive fun.

As next year marks the 30th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Marathon, runDisney has a few extra surprises in store for participants and fans alike.
The 2027 Race Themes
The last time we checked in on the 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, we brought you an update on the race themes.

To celebrate 30 years of Walt Disney World marathons, the event’s original mascot, Donald Duck, will make appearances along each race course.
The weekend will also feature a Pluto-themed 5K, a 10K starring Chip ‘n’ Dale, a Donald and Daisy-themed half marathon, and a Mickey and Minnie full marathon.

Registration Opens Tomorrow
With less than 10 months until the 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend kicks off, registration will officially open tomorrow!

Prices for the weekend are:
- Walt Disney World 5K ($125)
- Walt Disney World 10K ($175)
- Walt Disney World Half Marathon ($249)
- Walt Disney World Marathon ($255)
- Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge ($495)
- Dopey Challenge ($769)
Slots will fill up quickly, so make sure to secure your spot while you can!
