Our FULL Review: The World of Frozen in Disneyland Paris
We had the unique opportunity to preview the World of Frozen in Disneyland Paris before it officially opens on March 29th!
Of course, we brought you along as we explored the various experiences sprinkled throughout the new land (you can check out our full overview here).

Frozen Ever After – World of Frozen
The land will debut with the newly reimagined Disney Adventure World (formerly “Walt Disney Studios”), and while tons of exciting offerings will launch into action with the transformation, the World of Frozen has (justifiably) taken most of the focus.

So, what do we think of the highly-awaited Frozen-themed land? Let’s talk about!
World of Frozen Review
General
The moment you set foot into the land, you’re immediately whisked away to Arendelle–the fictional kingdom from the Frozen franchise.
Disney is well known for their ability to transport guests to other worlds through highly detailed theming, and this land is no exception.

The scene is set by the presence of the Arendelle Bay (filled with Viking longships), the North Mountain, Elsa’s Ice Palace, the Castle, and the Arendelle Village. It’s easy to lose yourself in the world of Frozen (quite literally) when you look around.

The Nordic-style architecture helps enhance the land’s immersion.

World of Frozen
While the land is gorgeous all day long, it really comes alive at nighttime! Gorgeous lighting, music, and other magical details take over when the sun sets–the perfect accompaniment to the breathtaking nighttime views.

Entertainment
There’s no shortage of ways to entertain yourself in the land! Our favorite offering was “A Celebration in Arendelle,” the water show which takes place on crafted boats. The bay–and the rest of Arendelle–awakens with the show, bringing guests music from the franchise and familiar faces like Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf.
(Our favorite time to see the show was at sunset–it’s hard to beat the golden hour of lighting.)

Speaking of Olaf, the incredibly impressive, next-generation Olaf animatronic is featured in the show!
We got an up-close look at him, and he’s pure magic. His fluid motions make it easy to forget he’s just a robot–we seriously got chills. Check him out in action:

We couldn’t get too close to him, as he was in a blocked-off area. His voice also wasn’t working during the preview.
Keep in mind that seeing him is never guaranteed, so consider yourself lucky if you run into him in Arendelle!

Mossie, the baby troll, is another exciting character encounter in the land!

And meeting Oaken is an opportunity we’ll never pass up.

We also met Anna and Elsa, which feels like a must-do while visiting the land. (How can you visit Arendelle and not see these sisters?)
They meet guests in front of a detailed background featuring the Arendelle Village and the North Mountain.

Frozen Ever After
Their Frozen Ever After attraction is identical to the one in Hong Kong Disneyland. The boat ride provides stunning views of familiar places from the Frozen franchise and features animatronics with the recent updates we just received in EPCOT.

Frozen Ever After – World of Frozen
If you’re used to the EPCOT version–be prepared for a bigger (dare we say better?) drop. It caught us off guard.

Frozen Ever After – World of Frozen
As for the storyline–it’s the same as EPCOT’s.

The attraction also offers a single-rider option!

Overall, this land is the highlight of the new Disney Adventure World expansion. With so much to see, do, and explore, this land is sure to be a fan-favorite in the resort.
We highly recommend stopping by Arendelle if you find yourself in Disneyland Paris–you don’t want to miss this.
