Disney’s Pop Century Looks Better Than Ever With Refurbished Lobby, Pool Bar, and Guest Rooms
If you have been following along here at MickeyBlog over the past several months, you know that Disney’s Pop Century has been undergoing a series of refurbishments.
During this time, we have provided you with updates on Pop Century’s lobby, refurbished pool bar, and upgraded rooms.
Now, our friends over at the Disney Parks Blog have shared a closer look at some of the refurbishment’s details.

Pop Century
Here is what we learned.
The Upgraded Lobby
The biggest change to Disney’s Pop Century of late has been the refurbishment of its lobby.

As we previously reported, murals have been added throughout the lobby featuring the Fab Five through the decades.

Additionally, the common area has received an infusion of new seating and gathering spaces.

“One of our biggest goals was making the lobby feel brighter, more vibrant and more functional for guests,” said Luis Sanchez, project manager on the Facility Asset Management team. “We looked at everything from the lighting to the seating layout so the space feels more open and comfortable — and supports the look and feel Disney Imagineers envisioned.”

Petals Pool Bar
Moving outside the front lobby, the Petals Pool Bar has also been refurbished.

The fan-favorite stop has been upgraded with new tile details and color behind the bar, along with clear digital menus.

Now, ordering your favorite drink by the pool is easier than ever!
Refurbished Guest Rooms
Last, but certainly not least, we have the Pop Century guest rooms.

The resort’s lodgings have been updated with a brighter palette and layered textures.

The warm, wood-toned flooring and geometric inset area infuse the room with a bit of Disney magic.

Finally, the in-room curtains and upholstery have been updated. They now include subtle touches like Hidden Mickeys, creating a warm, comfortable environment.

All in all, Pop Century looks better than ever!
