Refurbishment Planned for Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Restaurant and Skyliner Line
Walt Disney World is always changing! Updates, construction, and refurbishments keep the parks, attractions, and hotels refreshed and ready for Disney guests every day.
Guests visiting Disney’s Yacht Club Resort may notice some updates coming in the coming year.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Updates
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is already undergoing exterior maintenance through late 2026. The work has affected some of the views around the property and may require alternate walking paths throughout the resort area.
Disney’s website also notes that guests may see or hear daytime construction while the project is underway.
Along with the exterior work, several popular dining locations will temporarily close for refurbishment.
Yachtsman Steakhouse, the signature dining location inside Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, is scheduled to close in May 2026 for a refresh.
The restaurant is expected to reopen in August 2026 following the updates.
Crew’s Cup Lounge will also close for refurbishment beginning February 23, 2026. The lounge is currently expected to reopen in May 2026.
Transportation will also be affected in early 2027. Disney has announced that the Disney Skyliner will temporarily close for refurbishment from January 24 through January 30, 2027.
101 Dalmations Bus
During this time, complimentary bus transportation will be available for guests who normally rely on the Skyliner for travel between resorts and the theme parks.
Plan Ahead
While construction and refurbishments are part of routine maintenance across Walt Disney World Resort, the updates help keep resort experiences refreshed for guests planning future visits.
If you are staying at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort during this maintenance, allow extra time when traveling through and be prepared for possible detours.
