In case you missed it, there are a lot of exciting things coming to Disney World this summer, including a Bluey-themed area in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a new Animation Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and more. Let’s get into it
Upcoming Opening Dates
First, let’s share all the big dates you need to write down! See below for all the important upcoming dates you need to know:
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: Reopening April 8
- Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!: Opening May 26
- Soarin’ Across America: Opening May 26
- The Walt Disney Studios Courtyard: Opening May 26
- Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station: Opening May 26
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: Reopening Early May

As a quick reminder, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is receiving a major upgrade that will add updated Star Cruisers, enhanced blasters (that can be removed from holsters), new lighting, sound effects, haptics, and more!

The Walt Disney Studios Courtyard is a reimagining of Animation Courtyard, adding new Disney Animation-themed entertainment, including an Alice in Wonderland-themed “Drawn to Wonderland” Playground, and a refreshed area wth increased shade, seating, and a cozy studio theater.

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! is a NEW show debuting as part of the new Walt Disney Studios Courtyard, featuring Mickey and Minnie tracking down Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto with new original songs, interactive moments, and more.

Soarin’ Across America is part of America celebrating its 250th birthday, and it will feature scenes across the United States.

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station will be located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and it will include interactive games and dances inspired by Bluey episodes, along with meet and greets.

And finally, while we don’t have an exact date, it’s great to have an idea of when Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will reopen in Magic Kingdom! Considering the ride has been closed since January 2025, it’s exciting to learn it will be reopening sooner rather than later.
