EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion is home to one of the park’s most refined dining locations, and Takumi-Tei is now offering a brand-new spring menu designed around seasonal flavors and traditional Japanese presentation.
Takumi-Tei

The restaurant is quietly nestled inside the pavilion and features an omakase dining experience- a style that allows the chef to guide guests through a carefully curated meal.
This unique experience changes throughout the year, so you never have the same experience twice.
At Takumi-Tei, the experience unfolds over several courses and highlights ingredients and techniques inspired by Japanese culture and the changing seasons.
Leading the Team

Led by Chef Shingo , the team at Takumi-Tei has brought their passion and culture to the plate! You will immediately be transported by rich flavors and every bite.
This is more than just food in the menu – this is storytelling and Japanese culture.

The setting is just as much a part of the story. Takumi-Tei translates to “House of the Artisan,” and the restaurant’s interior reflects that theme through five distinct dining rooms.
Each room is inspired by natural elements including water, wood, earth, stone, and washi paper. Thoughtful details create a calm and immersive vibe that guests love.
New Menu

Guests have the option of the full omakase menu, with a vegetarian option, or a semi course menu for a slightly lighter experience.
The new spring menu begins with Ichiju Sansai, a traditional opening course that includes three seasonal dishes.
Options include a kombu-cured sea bream with gold leaf, lightly fried tofu in white miso broth, or salmon roe with spring vegetables dressed in sesame.

Additional courses highlight seafood and seasonal ingredients.
Guests can enjoy multiple courses that include food items like charcoal-grilled razor clam with Spanish mackerel or Spring Hanami Huassun Platter featuring small bites of miso-grilled flounder, sushi, tamagoyaki, and simmered vegetables.

The meal continues with a simmered dish featuring greenling fish, lotus root dumpling, and seasonal greens. Next, guests choose a main course.
Tasty options include Crisp Tempura of Japanese Black Waygu, Char-Grilled Japanese Black Wagyu Sirloin, and Crisp Fan-Shaped White Shrimp Tempura.

The next course is the rice course with eel sushi and red miso soup, followed by the final course of seasonal desserts.
