ESPN and DraftKings Announce New Account Linking Feature Ahead of March Madness

With March Madness just around the corner, Disney and DraftKings are expanding their partnership in an exciting new way.
Late last week, the two partners announced that ESPN’s bracket contests will be integrated into DraftKings.

Officially announced at the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, the new initiative will further bind ESPN to DraftKings.
Essentially, fans now have the opportunity to link their ESPN Tournament Challenge bracket to DraftKings, which will debut a new Bet Your Bracket section.

Here, users will find wagering suggestions tailored to their bracket.
“DraftKings and ESPN share a deep passion for sports and a commitment to enhancing how fans engage with the moments that matter most—especially during the pinnacle of the college basketball season,” Stephanie Sherman, chief marketing officer at DraftKings, said.
ESPN Continues to Invest in Sports Gambling
As ESPN continues to expand and develop its new streaming app, fans will eventually be able to track their DraftKings bets as part of their viewing experience.

“Account linking creates a level of personalization that no one else in the market can match,” Mike Morrison, vice president of ESPN Betting & Fantasy, said.
As sports gambling continues to explode in popularity, ESPN continues to lean heavily into the field.

While their ESPN Bet partnership failed, the Worldwide Leader continues to align with DraftKings.
The end result may be a fully integrated experience for sports gamblers and fans alike.
