The Best Places to Study or Work at Disney World
In the age of online college and remote jobs, it’s possible you may have some work to do while on your Disney World vacation. Or, perhaps you’re an Orlando local, looking for a change of scenery while tackling your to-do list.
Although Disney is chock-full of music, crowds, and laughter, there are some hidden gems on property perfect for harnessing productivity. Here, you’ll find that there are plenty of places to add some magical ambience to your daily routine, away from the crowds of the theme parks.

Voyageur’s Lounge at the Riviera Resort
Nestled in the lobby of the Riviera Resort, you’ll find the Voyageur’s Lounge. Dedicated to the European travels of Walt Disney, the aesthetic combines elegant odes to the company’s history in trinkets and photographs with the gorgeous bookshelves along the walls.

The proximity to Le Petit Cafe makes it so you can enjoy a wonderful almond cold brew while completing your assignments. It’s a great place to write, relax, or take a break from the parks to handle some of your responsibilities.
The Contemporary Resort
Beneath Chef Mickey’s and the Monorail station on the second floor of the Contemporary, you’ll find a quiet second level where couches and tables give you the privacy to think and focus.

With how expansive this level is, you’ll have little to no distractions or noise impeding on your work. But, if you head down to the first floor lobby, you can grab a Joffrey’s coffee and pastry from the Contemporary Grounds cafe to snack on while you work.
On the second floor, you’ll also be working in a place of history. In the Ballroom of the Americas, former President Richard Nixon delivered his famous “I’m Not a Crook” speech in 1973!

Gran Destino Tower Lobby
Over at Coronado Springs, the Gran Destino Tower lobby is a great place to get work done. With the Barcelona Lounge offering coffee in the morning and specialty drinks at night, you’ll be hydrated and motivated.
At the seating in the lobby, you can plug in your laptop and utilize the outlets for your electronic needs. The floor to ceiling windows, overlooking a scenic resort, are sure to put your mind at ease while taking a break from the rides and attractions.

By the Fire at the Wilderness Lodge
The Wilderness Lodge is one of the coziest, prettiest hotel lobbies in all of Walt Disney World. It is no doubt a wonderful place to settle in, open your laptop, and knock out some work.

Whether you pick rocking chairs by the fire or a couch overlooking the Mickey Mouse totem pole, this is one of the more comfortable places to be productive in. However, it may get a bit louder than the previously mentioned locations.
As the Whispering Canyon Cafe is right in the heart of the hotel, you may hear screams for ketchup while trying to write or take a Zoom call. But, sitting close by the fire gets you at a good distance from the laughs while enjoying the resort’s aesthetic.

Grand Floridian Resort
At the newly remodeled Grand Floridian lobby, you can work in opulent style, soundtracked by a talented pianist! With plenty of comfy chairs and seats to choose from, you can take in the sights of the gorgeous chandelier while a lovely piano player serenades you.

When the temperamental Florida weather is on your side, you can even take your work outside to the tables near Gasparilla Island Grill. While treating yourself to a tasty meal at this quick service, you can overlook Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle as you move through your agenda.
Then, once you’ve done everything on your list, you can either walk to or take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and celebrate your achievements.

Some Waterfront Honorable Mentions!
While there are quiet places in the parks where you can do your work, some other locations that did not make this list provide more of a beachfront relaxation.
The Polynesian is a stunning resort, and whether you sit by the Pineapple Lanai Dole Whip bar or take a seat on a bench swing on the beach, you’ll be feeling serene as you meet your deadlines.

Any of the resorts on the Friendship Boat loop, that is the resorts nearest Epcot and Hollywood Studios, can also provide quiet luxury to do your work at.
The Yacht Club, Beach Club, and even Boardwalk have tons of seating in their lobbies and hidden corners of the resorts, but when the sun’s out, you can take advantage of the benches overlooking the water or Stormalong Bay pool.

Stormalong Bay
While it’s ideal to have no work to do on your vacation, to stay longer at Disney or even take more vacations in a year may require you to prioritize deadlines over park time.
It’s important to know that you don’t have to coup up in your hotel room to do so; you can still enjoy the ambience of Disney while taking care of business!
