Walt Disney World Wait Times for End of February 2026
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is no longer living on the edge.
In a few months, we’ll be making a Rainbow Connection instead.

For the time being, the park just lost one of its most popular thrill rides, though.
So, we’ll discuss the final days of a roller coaster and whether it impacted the crowds.

This is a fascinating week of Walt Disney World wait times for the end of February 2026.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

We’ve got a lot to discuss at one of Disney’s theme parks this week.
Then, another one will become the topic of conversation in a couple of days.

For this reason, I’ll be a bit more basic than usual about Animal Kingdom.
Here are the park’s average wait times for the final week of February 2026:

(Kent Phillips, photographer)
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 67 minutes, down 20
- Na’vi River Journey – 54 minutes, down 9
- Adventurers Outpost – 38 minutes, down 1
- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 36 minutes, down 18
- Expedition Everest – 32 minutes, down 15
- Zootopia: Better Zoogether! – 24 minutes, down 5
- Kali River Rapids – 23 minutes, down 20

First of all, can you tell that Central Florida experienced cold weather last week?
Yeah, the post-holiday week crowds were always going to drop anyway.

However, the chilly temperatures reduced interest in Animal Kingdom’s outdoor rides.
Overall, the park’s attractions averaged a wait of 39 minutes, which is 13 minutes less than last time.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney
On Sunday, this theme park willingly chose not to rock from now on.
To the eternal heartbreak of Steven Tyler, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is no more.

The Disneyland Paris version of the roller coaster had previously closed in 2019.
Then, on Sunday, the one at Hollywood Studios closed its doors forever.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
As I referenced earlier, Imagineers will begin work on its replacement almost immediately.
Honestly, I’m writing this on Sunday, but the process will have likely begun before you read this.

Disney wants Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets up and running this summer.
So, there’s no time to waste, but park officials did give fans plenty of time to mourn.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
Disney announced the closure well in advance, thereby giving us plenty of time to ride it one last time.
To me, nothing about this is F.I.N.E., but I’ve known for a while that Aerosmith had grown long in the tooth.

This band had hit songs in the 1970s. Objectively, it’s stunning that they still have a ride in 2026.
To a larger point, Hollywood Studios will experience a bit of a vacuum in the short term.

Disney
The loss of Muppet*Vision 3D barely caused a ripple on park traffic and behavior.
This Aerosmith closure might, and that’s something we’ll track over the next few months.

Slinky Dog Dash
Until then, here are the average wait times at Hollywood Studios during Aerosmith’s last ride:
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run – 78 minutes, up 5
- Slinky Dog Dash – 75 minutes, down 20
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith – 73 minutes, down 8
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 70 minutes, down 10
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – 59 minutes, down 22

Overall, guests spent an average of 51 minutes in line at various Hollywood Studios attractions.
That’s ten minutes less than last time. So, you’re starting to see the President’s Day Effect.

At some point, this three-day holiday evolved into a week people can and do spend at Disney World.
EPCOT

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT
Oh, how the tide has turned. For several years, EPCOT was the theme park in upheaval.
Disney spent the first half of the 2020s reinventing EPCOT to make it more modern.

Tinker Bell Topiary & Fairy Garden
Now that the process has completed, everything else at Walt Disney World is changing.
Meanwhile, EPCOT is humming right along, almost oblivious to what’s happening elsewhere.

Captain Hook & Peter Topiaries
Still, there is one big change of note. We don’t have a festival at the park right now.
However, that will change on Wednesday, when the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival debuts.

So, you can think of right now as the calm before the storm, but you should also know that MickeyBlog will bring you live coverage of everything happening at the park on Wednesday.
Make sure to tune in to learn what’s happening at Flower & Garden 2026!

- Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress – 5 minutes, no change
Final Thoughts

Overall, Magic Kingdom guests waited for an average of 29 minutes per attraction.
That’s “only” a drop of seven minutes, which is still massive for Magic Kingdom.

In fact, only TWO Disney World attractions increased their wait times from President’s Day Week.
So, the combination of the post-holiday lull and cold weather definitely kept away the crowds.

Now that we’ve entered March, everything will change, though. Spring Break is nearly here.
