Animation Has Officially Wrapped on ‘Toy Story 5’
With just months to go until the film hits theaters, animation has officially wrapped.
Thirty-one years after audiences were first introduced to Buzz, Woody, and the rest of Andy’s toys, the gang will return to theaters this summer for Toy Story 5.

“The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s ‘Toy Story 5,’ and this time around it’s Toy meets Tech. Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs get exponentially harder when they go head to head with this all-new threat to playtime,” the film’s synopsis reads.
Anticipation Is Building
As the countdown to Toy Story 5 has continued, anticipation for the film has only intensified.

Previously, we brought you a rundown of the film’s new trailer, which featured the return of (a balding) Woody, the introduction of Lily Pad, and a glimpse at the army of Buzz Lightyears that will be unleashed.

Then we explored the changes to the film’s voice cast, including numerous recastings.

Now, it is my pleasure to report that animation has officially wrapped on Toy Story 5.
Animation Has Wrapped
The animation team behind Toy Story 5 took to social media earlier this week to celebrate the conclusion of their work.

The celebratory photo featured the team happily posing while drawing attention to their pregnant peer.
“Baby came out to celebrate animation wrapping on TS5,” the post was captioned.

Based on the photo, it looks like the Toy Story 5 team was a close-knit group!
I, for one, can’t wait for the film to get here!
