Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s Stratocaster Has Been Removed From the Hollywood Studios Digital Map
The final curtain fell on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith yesterday, as the iconic Hollywood Studios attraction is now officially closed.
If you were reading along last night, you know fans turned out in droves to take one last trip through Hollywood alongside Steven Tyler and the rest of Aerosmith.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith – Last Day
Now, however, it is time to look ahead.
Here Come the Muppets
Later this year, Kermit, Scooter, and the Electric Mayhem will set up shop on Sunset Boulevard when Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets opens.

Originally announced last year, the new version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will trade in Aerosmith for Jim Henson’s motley crew of Muppets.

On the updated attraction, guests will be tasked by Scooter with convincing the Electric Mayhem to stop their recording session and make it to their Hollywood concert on time.
Changes To the Hollywood Studios Map
Just hours after Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith officially closed, the attraction has been removed from Disney’s Hollywood Studios digital map.

As you can see, the attraction’s iconic red Stratocaster guitar has been taken off the map. Interestingly, however, the show building and facade remain.
Additionally, the attraction is no longer labeled on the map. Here is what the digital map previously looked like.

The good news for fans is that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets is set to open later this year.

So, we won’t be without that Stratocaster for long!
The My Disney Experience Map Remains Unchanged
Interestingly, the Hollywood Studios map found in the My Disney Experience app has remained unchanged.

Not only is the Stratocaster still visible, but the attraction is also still labeled with the Aersomith tag in place.
This will likely change soon.
