PHOTOS: Aerosmith Has Already Been Removed From the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Façade
The final curtain fell on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith yesterday, as the iconic Hollywood Studios attraction is now officially closed.
If you were reading along last night, you know fans flocked to Sunset Boulevard last night to take one last trip through Hollywood alongside Steven Tyler and the rest of Aerosmith.

Later this year, Kermit, Scooter, and the Electric Mayhem will set up shop on Sunset Boulevard when Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets opens.
Here Come the Muppets
Originally announced last year, the new version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will trade in Aerosmith for Jim Henson’s motley crew of Muppets.

On the updated attraction, guests will be tasked by Scooter with convincing the Electric Mayhem to stop their recording session and make it to their Hollywood concert on time.
Work Has Begun on the Attraction’s Transformation
Just hours after Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith officially closed, Disney has already made major changes to the attraction.

The entrance gate to G-Force Records has been closed, with Cast Members on site to redirect guests.

A board outside the entrance also teases the upcoming addition of the Muppets.

“We’re moving right along,” it reads. “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is currently closed as we load in the band.”
If you look closely, you can see a Gonzo Stunt School sticker on the board!

Aerosmith Has Been Removed
Past the gate, we were able to see that the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith name has already been removed from the attraction’s iconic Stratocaster.

Additionally, the Aerosmith poster that adorned the front of the building has also been covered.

Clearly, Disney is wasting no time in turning the page on Aerosmith and getting ready for the Muppets.
