Let’s Try “The After Dark Dog” at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa!
Hello from Disneyland!

We’re spending our weekend around the resort, checking out everything new! From the return of the Minnie Mouse flower bed to the early debut of Easter treats, we’re searching for all the latest updates around the parks.
But the exciting updates aren’t limited to just the parks! Let’s head to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, where a new month means a new hot dog!
The After Dark Dog – GCH Craftsman Grill
The GCH Craftsman Grill is the place to be on the first day of every month, thanks to their Hot Dog of the Month!
This month’s dog is The After Dark Dog–a Waygu beef hotdog, accompanied by a brioche bun and duck fat-black garlic aioli, buttered sauerkraut, sweet pepper relish, crispy shallots, and chives, served with white cheddar truffle fries. (Yum!)

The sweet peppers were the perfect addition, enhancing the already-snappy hot dog. And if you’re not a fan of sauerkraut, don’t let its presence intimidate you! It wasn’t sour or tangy, providing only a mild touch among the strong flavors of all the other ingredients in the hot dog.

As always, the fries are the perfect side. (We keep begging them to serve them independently as a side dish–they’re that good.)
