The Diamond Horseshoe Pauses Table-Service Dining for Cool Kids’ Summer
If you are visiting Magic Kingdom this spring and summer, there is an update that may impact your dining plans.
Beginning May 16, 2026, The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square will temporarily pause its table-service dining offerings.

This closure comes as Walt Disney World prepares for Jessie’s Roundup during the new Cool Kids’ Summer event.
Summer 2026
Guests won’t be able to book traditional sit-down, family-style meals at this Old West–inspired music hall during the refurbishment period.
Disney currently expects dining service at The Diamond Horseshoe to resume in fall 2026, giving fans something to look forward to later in the year.

Typically, The Diamond Horseshoe serves all-you-care-to-enjoy feasts for lunch and dinner, featuring hearty and comforting American favorites! Think delicious platters piled high with roasted turkey, pot roast, and oven-roasted pork, accompanied by traditional sides.
During the closure, guests craving these flavors can still find similar options at Liberty Tree Tavern.
