Disney and Formula 1 Are Getting Ready To Kick Their ‘Fuel the Magic’ Campaign Into Gear
Late last year, we brought you the news that Disney and Formula 1 were launching an expansive new partnership.
The fun kicked off at the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, which saw the flagship race infused with Disney magic.

“Disney’s Mickey Mouse is one of the most beloved and recognizable characters of all time, and now fans can look forward to seeing Mickey & Friends in the high-speed world of Formula 1 through experiences, content, and merchandise around the globe,” Disney teased when announcing the new partnership.

Subsequently, the two partners launched the Disney x Formula 1 Collection, which was available at the Las Vegas Grand Prix and the Disney Store.
‘Fuel the Magic’
Now, Disney and Formula 1 are getting ready to kick their partnership into the next gear.

Throughout 2026, the two partners will Fuel the Magic, with retail pop-ups, race-specific merchandise, and magical Disney moments at various F1 events.
‘Mickey x F1 Racing to the Top’
As part of the Fuel the Magic campaign, Disney and WEBTOON have teamed up to create Mickey x F1 Racing to the Top!

The original vertical comic series will debut during the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and run exclusively on WEBTOON’s global platform throughout the rest of the year.
According to Disney, the comic series will blend the creativity and imagination of Mickey & Friends with the drama of elite racing.

“In this all-new adventure, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy rally together to help a racing team in crisis, proving that friendship and collaboration are always the winning strategy,” they teased.
Gentle Monster’s 2026 Circuit Collection
Finally, as we previously teased, Gentle Monster will soon introduce the 2026 Circuit Collection.

A collaboration between the iconic eyewear brand, Disney, and Formula 1, the new collection will reimagine the structural language of F1 cars through a bold, fashion-forward lens.

In total, eight new styles will be introduced, including three designs inspired by Mickey & Friends.

The launch of the new collection will also see the debut of immersive pop-up experiences in Seoul and Shanghai.
