New Casting Calls Suggest Two Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Features Will Return This Year
While the rest of the country is looking forward to warmer temperatures, blooming flowers, and the magic of spring, Disney Live Entertainment is already looking ahead to spooky season.
We may still be eight months from Halloween, but in the world of Disney, it is never too early to start getting ready.
With that in mind, it is my pleasure to announce that it looks like two fan-favorite Halloween entertainment offerings will be returning to Walt Disney World this year!

Here is the latest.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
A new posting by Disney Live Entertainment has revealed that the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular will be returning to Magic Kingdom this Halloween season.
In fact, Disney has begun the casting process for the Sanderson Sisters.
The listing calls for online submissions from female vocalists in Central Florida. It notes that the beloved show will return from August through October 2026. Rehearsals start in mid-July.
Finally, the listing gives descriptions of the Sanderson Sisters:
Winifred Sanderson: Winifred Sanderson is the leader of the Sanderson sisters and the main antagonist. She is the eldest and the wickedest of the sisters, as well as the most intelligent. She is very sensitive to people calling her ugly and she is prone to being melodramatic.
Hocus Pocus – Sanderson Sisters – 1993
Mary Sanderson: Mary Sanderson, the middle sister, is often complimenting and comforting Winifred as she constantly seeks her approval. She has the ability to sniff out the presence of children and loves to eat. She is the most observant of the three and she sports a crooked mouth.
Sarah Sanderson: Sarah Sanderson is the youngest and most beautiful Sanderson sister. She is not particularly intelligent and she is often prancing around and goofing off. She uses a siren-like ability to lure children through song. She loves to play with people and hates those who reject her.
Disney Is Also Casting Dancers For the Show
In addition to casting the Sanderson Sisters, Disney is also looking for dancers to perform in the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.
Once again, applicants must be Central Florida locals.
Additionally, they should have “great jazz technique, proficient in multiple dance styles, including commercial jazz and Fosse, and comfortable with lifts. Good acting is a plus; must be able to interact with the Sanderson Sisters easily.”
Mickey’s Boo-To-You
Last, but certainly not least, Disney Live Entertainment is also seeking Flag Corps performers for Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade.

Applicants must be available weekly from June 2026 through November 2026.
Performers must have experience with flag corps, color guard, or flag spinning. Additionally, they must be able to learn choreography and should have strong athletic endurance.
