Planning your Disney Cruise? Disney Cruise online check-in is a crucial step that saves you valuable time on embarkation day and ensures smooth sailing from start to finish.
When Does Online Check-In Open?
Your Disney Cruise online check-in window depends on your Castaway Club status:
- Pearl members: 40 days before sailing
- Platinum members: 38 days before sailing
- Gold members: 35 days before sailing
- Silver members: 33 days before sailing
- First-time cruisers: 30 days before sailing

What Happens During Online Check-In?
Disney Cruise online check-in is where you handle all the essential pre-cruise details:
Upload travel documents and photos for everyone in your party. Provide a credit card for onboard purchases. Register kids for youth clubs. Submit airline information and emergency contacts.
You can start the process and return later to modify information up to one day before sailing. Just make sure everything’s complete at least 24 hours before departure.
Guest Information
First up, you’ll add your whole party’s guest information.
You’ll start with pictures of each guest.
If something is not right with your photo, you’ll see an error message:
Up next, you’ll add your travel documentation. For US Citizens sailing on a cruise that begins and ends in the same port, you can opt to use your birth certificate and a government issued photo ID, but you can also use a passport if you have it.
And don’t forget to bring your passport or birth certificate + government issued photo ID with you when you sail!
Onboard Account
Up next, you’ll set up an Onboard Account.
Selecting Your Port Arrival Time
During online check-in, you’ll select a Port Arrival Time for your group. This is when you’re allowed to enter the embarkation terminal—arriving earlier won’t get you in.
After selecting your time, save your Port Arrival Form electronically or print it. This form contains a QR code that speeds up check-in at the terminal. You’ll also receive a copy via email.
Pro tip: Save that form at least one day before sailing so it’s easily accessible on embarkation day.
Luggage Tags Are Coming
Each person receives Disney Cruise Line luggage tags in the mail before sailing. Cruises 4 nights or less get one tag per person. Cruises 5+ nights get two tags per person.
Tags include your name, ship, stateroom number, sail date, and reservation number. Don’t pack them in your luggage! Check the QR code on the mailer for when to attach them to your bags.
Note: Disney Adventure guests receive luggage tags at the terminal on embarkation day.

If tags don’t arrive, don’t panic. All forms are available through My Reservations online, and extra blank luggage tags are available at the terminal.
Special Services and Dietary Requests
Request special accommodations during online check-in for equipment, service animals, mobility assistance, oxygen, hearing/visual services, or dietary needs.
Disney Treasure
Disney Cruise Line offers gluten-free, vegetarian, no-sugar-added, dairy-free, and lighter-note options at no extra charge. Submit dietary requests up to 3 days before sailing.
Plaza de Coco
Kosher or halal meals require 5 weeks’ notice. Halal and vegetarian Jain options on Disney Adventure need 5 weeks’ notice. Kosher Passover meals require 10 weeks’ advance request.
Final Touches
Use this time to book remaining onboard extras: Port Adventures, DisneyBand+, photo packages, premium dining, spa services. Note: Port Adventures and DisneyBand+ aren’t available on Disney Adventure.
