Happy President’s Day to all my American friends!
You may or may not be enjoying a three-day weekend, depending on how your job does things.

At a minimum, you’re hopefully basking in the afterglow of a fun Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day.
Plus, we’ve had the Olympics and the NBA All-Star Weekend for entertainment one week after the Super Bowl.

So, early February has included a strange confluence of events. How has that impacted Disney?
Here are Walt Disney World’s wait times for Valentine’s Day 2026.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

We just finished our second full week without DinoLand USA.
Other than that, there’s not much happening at the park right now, as we’re in the calm before the storm.

The Wildlife Express Train will close temporarily next week. Then, Disney will begin construction.
Soon afterward, Bluey and a bunch of authentic Australian animals will arrive.

In the short term, Animal Kingdom will be a bit underpowered, which may affect the crowds.
Has that behavior started? Here are the park’s average wait times last week:

Photo: Disney
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 89 minutes, up 3
- Na’vi River Journey – 56 minutes, up 4
- Expedition Everest – 49 minutes, up 2
- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 47 minutes, up 10
- Adventurers Outpost – 38 minutes, no change
- Kali River Rapids – 30 minutes, up 21
- Zootopia: Better Zoogether! – 27 minutes, up 5

Kali River Rapids
Overall, Animal Kingdom guests stood in line for an average of 48 minutes per attraction.
That’s six minutes more than last time, but you can spot the main reasons why.

Kilimanjaro Safaris and Kali River Rapids grew more popular with warmer weather.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Did you see the lines at Hollywood Studios the other day???
MickeyBlog’s ace reporters were all over the story, bringing you coverage of the RnR mob.

Those are legitimately some of the largest lines for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith since the pandemic.
Okay, Christmas rush and maybe a few Thanksgiving Weeks have been up there, but still.

Guests are obviously rushing to the park to enjoy one last ride on RnR before it closes.
We’ve got about two weeks left before Aerosmith cedes the ride to The Muppets.

Toy Story Mania
Anyway, here are the average wait times at Hollywood Studios last week:
- Slinky Dog Dash – 90 minutes, up 13
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance – 78 minutes, no change

Overall, the Aerosmith Effect led to an average attraction wait time of 55 minutes.
That’s three minutes more than last time, and I couldn’t help but notice something.

We’re teetering on the brink of seven attractions requiring an hourlong wait here.
So, yeah, the last days of RnR are definitely drawing a crowd.
EPCOT

2026 Festival of the Arts
We’ve officially reached the final week of the 2026 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
In case you missed it on MickeyBlog, several signs of the next festival are already visible.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Magic Kingdom guests waited for an average of 35 minutes per attraction.
That’s four minutes more than last time, but I’ll highlight another telling stat here.

This park rarely has four rides requiring hour-long waits, but it did this time.
Two more were knocking on the door in the upper 50s. So, yeah, Magic Kingdom was crowded.

Photo: Disney
To a larger point, every Walt Disney World theme park’s average wait time went up this week.
The “slow season” at Disney has already come and gone, and this week may be even worse. Last year, President’s Day Week was quite crowded at Disney World.
