Annie’s Space Sensory Room Is Now Open at Orlando International Airport

If you are a frequent flier, you know that even the nicest airports can often feel overwhelmingly busy.
Between the crowds, the hustle, and the bustle, it can be hard to find a place to sit down, catch your breath, and relax, especially if you are feeling anxious about your flight.
Despite being one of the busiest travel hubs in the world, Orlando International Airport (MCO) aims to ensure every passenger has a positive experience.

With that in mind, the airport has introduced a new space designed specifically for travelers with sensory sensitivities and their families.
Annie’s Space Sensory Room
Earlier today, MCO announced that Annie’s Space Sensory Room has officially opened on Level 3 of Terminal A.
Designed to provide a safe and calming environment, the room helps guests manage sensory overload and decompress before their flight.

Annie’s Space Sensory Room is open daily from 7 AM to 9 PM. It is located before security near the food court, across from Truist Bank.

To ensure the space remains welcoming and comfortable for everyone, the airport has established the following guidelines:
- No food or drinks
- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Shoes must be worn at all times
- No running or rough play
- Please take all belongings with you when leaving
- Please clean up after yourself
MCO Continues To Grow
As Orlando International Airport continues to grow in popularity, it is expanding its amenities to better serve all travelers.
Recently, this has included the return of the Experience MCO Visitor Pass Program, and now, the addition of Annie’s Space Sensory Room.
