PHOTOS: Cinderella Castle Repainting Continues to Move Forward!
Hello from Disney World!
We’re spending our Saturday–and our Valentine’s Day–strolling through the resort. (Where else would we be?)
We’ve met special characters for Valentine’s Day, spotted Mickey and Minnie in their holiday attire, and listened to the Dapper Dans in their special outfits!
But we’re not just checking out the touches of Valentine’s Day around the parks, we’re spotting updates too! Speaking of, let’s head to Cinderella Castle to see how the repainting is moving along.

A lot of prep work has been underway in the park for quite some time, allowing the repainting project to really take off! So far, we’ve spotted the first coat of paint in small areas around the castle and watched the moat drain to allow for cranes and other equipment to access the castle more easily.

And check out today’s update! More visible places around the castle have started turning gray, including the higher turrets…
